About

Discover PHA Korean Skincare formulated with polyhydroxy acids (PHAs), a group of exfoliating ingredients commonly used in skincare targeting uneven texture, dullness, and sensitive skin.

PHAs are chemical exfoliants with larger molecular structures than many traditional exfoliating acids. Because they penetrate the skin more gradually, they are frequently incorporated into formulations designed for gentle exfoliation and improved skin comfort.

This collection includes Korean cleansers, toners, serums, creams, masks, and other skincare products formulated with PHA ingredients. Depending on the formula, PHAs may be combined with AHA, BHA, LHA, niacinamide, centella, panthenol, and other ingredients commonly used in exfoliating, hydrating, or soothing skincare.

How Is PHA Different from Other Exfoliating Ingredients?

  • PHA: A group of larger-molecule exfoliating acids commonly used in gentle exfoliating formulations.
  • AHA: Water-soluble exfoliating acids commonly used to improve surface texture and uneven-looking skin tone.
  • BHA: Oil-soluble exfoliating acids commonly used in acne and pore-focused skincare.
  • LHA: A lipophilic salicylic acid derivative frequently used in gradual exfoliation and pore-focused formulations.

BKS Ingredient Classification: Products are included when PHA ingredients recognized by the BKS ingredient classification system are identified in the product ingredient list, allowing you to browse products containing these specific exfoliating ingredients rather than relying solely on general exfoliating claims.
